The reel reels smooth, but the handle is tight. Did click occaisionally with the EOS system. Works well, though for my winter presentation. I need very slight movements, and the retrieve is very slow. Has handled fish in excess of 6 pounds very well. Drag is very smooth. I would like the reel to move just a little easier, but overall satisfied. Especially at the price I got here. It definitely is not like my symetres though
